What is Navolet and how does it work?
Navolet is an AI-powered business assistant that works through WhatsApp and Telegram. Instead of downloading an app or logging into a website, you simply chat with the Navolet bot in plain language to manage your business. You can create invoices, track sales, manage stock, record expenses, monitor profit, and get daily reports — all by sending messages the same way you would chat with a friend. Navolet understands natural language, so you don’t need to learn special commands.
Do I need to download anything to use Navolet?
No. Navolet works entirely through WhatsApp and Telegram, which you most likely already have on your phone. There is nothing to install or set up on your end. Simply save the Navolet contact number (WhatsApp) or find the bot on Telegram, send a message, and the bot will walk you through a quick 2-minute setup to get your business profile ready.
What is the difference between the Free, Standard, and Pro plans?
The Free plan lets you try Navolet with up to 20 messages, 5 invoices, and 10 customers per month on Telegram only. The Standard plan increases those limits to 500 messages, 50 invoices, and 100 customers, and adds WhatsApp access, expense tracking, and profit reports. The Pro plan removes all limits entirely — unlimited messages, invoices, and customers — and includes every feature Navolet offers. You can upgrade at any time by purchasing a plan on the Navolet website and activating your license key in the bot.
How do I activate my license key after purchase?
After purchasing a plan, you will receive a license key by email. It looks like this: NV-XXXXXXXX-XXXXXXXX-XXXXXXXX. Open your Navolet bot on WhatsApp or Telegram, type or paste the key, and send it. The bot will recognise it automatically and upgrade your plan immediately. If you did not receive your key by email, check your spam folder or log in to your account on the Navolet website and find it under My Account → Orders.
Can I use Navolet on both WhatsApp and Telegram at the same time?
Yes, on Standard and Pro plans. Your account and all your data — customers, invoices, stock, sales — are shared between both platforms. This means you can create an invoice on Telegram and look it up on WhatsApp. The Free plan supports Telegram only. Whichever platform you prefer on a given day, your business data is always up to date.
How do I create an invoice and send it to a customer?
Tell the bot the customer’s name and list the items. For example: “Invoice for Amaka: 3 Nike Shoes at 24000 each, 1 bag at 15000.” The bot will calculate the total and ask if you want a PDF. Say yes and it will generate a professional PDF invoice with your business name, address, bank details, and all line items. You can then forward the PDF to your customer directly from WhatsApp or Telegram.
Do I need a Paystack account to use the Telegram Shop?
No. If you don’t have one, Navolet creates a secure payment subaccount for you automatically when you save your bank details. Payouts go directly to your bank after each sale. If you do have a Paystack account, you can use your own keys instead.
How do I delete my account and all my data?
Send the message DELETE MY DATA to the Navolet bot on WhatsApp or Telegram. The bot will ask you to confirm — reply CONFIRM DELETE and all your data will be permanently removed from our systems immediately. This includes your business profile, all customers, invoices, sales, expenses, and stock records. If you prefer to submit a written request, you can also use the data request form at navolet.com/data-request. We comply with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023 and respond to all data requests.
Where does Paystack deduct their charges?
Paystack deducts their fee first (1.5% + ₦100 for local cards, capped at ₦2,000) from the payment amount. After that, Navolet’s platform fee applies to the remaining amount. Example: Customer pays ₦10,000 → Paystack takes ₦250 → Navolet takes its % from ₦9,750 → rest goes to your bank.
What's the difference between using my own Paystack keys vs Navolet's payment system?
With your own keys: 100% of payments go to your Paystack account, minus Paystack’s fee. No platform fee from Navolet. With Navolet’s system: we create a subaccount for you, handle everything, and deduct our platform fee from each transaction. Best for merchants who don’t already have a Paystack account.
Can customers buy from my shop without a Telegram account?
The Telegram Mini App works inside Telegram, so customers need a Telegram account. However, you can also share your shop link directly — it opens in any browser for customers who prefer not to use Telegram.
If someone buys from my shop, does it update my chatbot records automatically?
Yes — immediately. When a payment is confirmed, Navolet automatically: reduces your stock quantity, adds the customer to your customer list (if they’re new), records the sale in your sales history, creates an invoice, and sends PDF receipts to both you and the customer. All in real time.
Can I import my existing chatbot stock items into the shop?
Yes. Go to My Shop → Products → “Import from Chatbot”. Your existing stock items are listed with their name, selling price, and stock count. Select the ones you want, click Import — they’re added as draft products. Then add photos, variants, and publish when ready.
